Intruder leaves empty-handed

A Dandenong man confronted a would-be thief who forced his way into his Gwenda Street home.
An eight-year-old girl, 29-year-old woman and 36-year-old man were asleep when the intruder jemmied open a back door, about 4.45am on Tuesday 4 October.
The man woke up and approached the attempted thief, who fled the scene empty-handed.
He was described as Caucasian, tall and unshaven, with blonde hair, black clothing and black gloves.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives appealed for anyone with information about the aggravated burglary to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
