EMPLOYEES of Telstra’s Bigpond Internet company were on hand in Dandenong South to help build a home to accomodate a lowincome family.
Bigpond is a sponsor of Christianbased group Habitat for Humanity, which builds affordable housing for people who otherwise cannot afford their own home in the current property market.
The employees include, clockwise from back left, Suzanne Kell, Sam Ciccia, Bronwyn Campbell, Yvette Seamons, Christopher Burgess, Courtney Smith, Pam Daire and Angelo Stylianou.
Once completed, Habitat for Humanity will find a suitable family for the home, and help them to acquire a very lowinterest home loan.
The home is being built in Dawn Avenue, Dandenong South.
