A DANDENONG man was rushed to hospital in a serious condition after he was stabbed several times outside a Walker Street pool parlour last Friday night.
The billiards barney erupted at 10.30pm and involved 20 people, police said.
Detectives are now seeking two men involved in the fight and are calling on the community for information.
Police said the fight originally broke out between two men outside the front of the pool parlour, but they were soon joined by a large group of youths playing pool inside.
The group armed itself with pool cues and other weapons and once outside fought with the Dandenong man and a group of his friends.
Police said a 20-year-old Dandenong man was stabbed in the chest, abdomen, buttocks and upper thigh during the brawl.
He was rushed to Dandenong Hospital in a serious condition.
One attacker has been described as 20 to 25 years old, about 155cm tall with a medium build, an olive complexion and dark wavy hair which was cut short.
Police are also searching for a second man described as of Asian appearance with a fair complexion, about 175cm tall with a slim build and straight shoulder-length black hair that is styled short at the sides.
The second man is believed to be called ‘Khan’ or similar and was wearing a light coloured T-shirt, cargo pants and fingerless leather gloves.
Information regarding the incident can be passed on to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
