THE owners of Black Caviar, including former M&K Lawyers partner Colin Madden, were honoured by the Pakenham Racing Club at its annual cup meeting on Sunday. The Black Caviar Tribute Handicap, run just prior to the cup, was won by Buster McGee, part-owned by M&K’s manager of IT Debbie Kealy. Madden had the great pleasure of presenting the trophy to his former workmate of 20 years. He and fellow owners Jannene Madden, Barry and Sue Hawkes and Garry and Kerrin Wilkie were paraded up the Pakenham straight in a cavalcade in the tradition of Royal Ascot, the most memorable of Black Cavair’s 24 straight victories. 96162 Picture: STEWART CHAMBERS
