POLICE charged a Dandenong man with manslaughter after a dead man was found by a roadside in Carrum Downs on 1 May.
Glenn Carleton, 40, appeared in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Friday 3 May and was remanded to return on 23 August.
Police alleged he and another man fought with the victim at a Cranbourne house on 14 April and injuries caused his death.
The court heard that Mr Carleton and the other man allegedly dumped the body in a ditch between EastLink and Worsley Road in Carrum Downs the next day.
Police have not yet formally identified the deceased man.
