NEARLY 100 residents have signed a petition calling for an end to hooning in Aberdeen Drive, Dandenong North.
Noble Park North Ward councillor Maria Sampey handed the petition with 97 signatures to council at Monday night’s meeting.
Cr Sampey said residents were upset that dangerous driving, including speeding, was still occurring. She said the council had not yet implemented a local area traffic management plan devised in 2001.
Cr Sampey also presented photographs taken by residents of cars hooning along Aberdeen Drive.
