Springvale: Four charged over alleged abduction

FOUR people have been charged after an alleged abduction and assault in Springvale last night.

Police said a 17-year-old boy was walking along Turramurra Drive bout 7.40pm when he was allegedly forced into a car and assaulted by four males.

The group let the boy go some time later and he reported the incident to Springvale police.

The group was arrested on Charman Road, Cheltenham about 10.30pm.

Two 18 year olds — one from Keysborough, the other from Endeavour Hills — were charged with false imprisonment, intentionally causing injury, threats to kill, robbery and theft.

They were to appear before Dandenong Magistrates Court this morning.

A 17-year-old Keysborough boy and a 17-year-old Springvale boy were also charged and have been bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
