Keysborough assault: cops seek information from public

Police have called for public help in the investigation of the sexual assault and robbery of a woman in Keysborough on February 24.

The woman was walking on Darren Road about 8.30pm when she was attacked and dragged to Coomoora Road Reserve by a man who punched her in the face and sexually assaulted her.

The attacker stole a white gold pendant in the shape of a teardrop with one diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds.

Police have released an image, right, of a man of Asian appearance, about 160 centimetres tall, of medium build, tanned complexion and with an accent.

He was wearing a dark grey singlet, shorts, white runners and had a band tied around his head.

Information about the incident can be phoned to Crime Stoppers, 1800 333 000.
