Oh, what a boost

THE Noble Park and Dingley Football Clubs are set to benefit by the addition of some much-needed sponsorship from Patterson Cheney Toyota under the Toyota Good for Footy program.
Patterson Cheney Toyota team member Luke Jones said the dealership was proud to be supporting local football clubs and leagues via the program.
“The local footy club is an Australian institution, bringing communities together in a unique way,” he said.
“The partnership between Patterson Cheney Toyota and the local clubs will see valuable improvements to facilities and equipment, making it that much easier for players, officials and volunteers to make the most of their surroundings.”
Bret Lavers from the Dingoes said the support was invaluable.
“Most local footy clubs depend heavily on volunteers to raise funds and carry out maintenance,” he said.
“This takes the pressure off a bit, and allows people to just sit back and enjoy the game.”
A total of 50 Toyota dealerships have partnered with about 100 grassroots clubs in previous years to help improve grounds, fund renovations of clubrooms, and purchase equipment, uniforms and medical supplies.
This year Toyota is hoping to contribute up to $300,000 to local clubs and teams across Victoria and Southern New South Wales, which will make a huge impact on local footy as a whole.
