Above: Ballet stars from the Dancers Company perform a scene from Sleeping Beauty.DANDENONG’S Drum Theatre is preparing for the Australian Ballet’s Dancers Company to take centre stage to perform the Classical Triple Bill.
The touring Dancers Company, comprised of guest artists from the Australian Ballet and senior students from the Australian Ballet School, will bring the highest quality of classic ballet to the Drum Theatre on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 July at 7.30pm.
The show will lead the audience on a magical journey through the dance-inspired stories of Les Sylphides, Graduation Ball and Aurora’s Wedding in Sleeping Beauty.
With the style and choreography inspired by the traditional Russian ballet, the dancers will perform 17 shows across Australia as part of this year’s tour.
