NOBLE Park Occasional Child Care Centre was hit by an epidemic of Olympic fever last Friday, when the Mini Olympic Games came to town.
The childcare centre’s Marilyn Curtis said the kids took part in five events, each focussing on participation and not winning.
Kids also experienced a small opening ceremony with torches, and enjoyed an Olympic sausage sizzle before each child received a medal – a taste, perhaps, of what to expect in the future!
The City of Greater Dandenong council covered the cost of the day.
