COMMUTERS should prepare for a temporary closure of Gladstone Road on 10 February, between 7pm and 6am.
The closure will allow for the widening the existing bridges on the Monash Freeway as part of the Monash-CityLink Westgate (M1) upgrade project. The M1 upgrade is a $1.39 billion project.
Works include widening sections of the road between Williamstown and Dandenong, improving entry and exit points and introducing a new freeway management system from Werribee to Narre Warren.
Gladstone Road in Dandenong North will be closed to traffic from the intersection with Brady Road. Both north-bound and south-bound traffic will be diverted around Brady Road, Outlook Drive, and Murray Road.
