Skate stunts go on parade

SKATERS and coaches from Dandenong Skate Inc. are preparing to wow the crowd at Melbourne’s iconic Moomba Parade.
The artistic roller skating club was chosen by Moomba organisers to entertain and amaze thousands of spectators who watch the parade as part of the Moomba Waterfest each year.
“The kid’s reactions when we told them was priceless,” club president Maria Voudouris said.
“It’s something fun, exciting and something to remember in years to come,” she said.
The parade will take place along Swanston Street on Monday 9 March.
