CEVA Logistics has announced signing a contract for the management of warehouse operations for Eaton Corporation’s Electrical Sector in Australia.
The new contract will mean Eaton Electric’s existing facility in Dandenong will have to be relocated to CEVA’s Distribution Centre at Erskine Park, New South Wales.
In a statement, CEVA Australia managing director Howard Crtichley said he was delighted by Eaton’s decision to further expand and strengthen their valuable partnership.
“Importantly, the announcement builds upon the foundation of our global partnership that commenced between the two companies in the early 1990s,” he said. Eaton Electric general manager said the new operation was in “safe and reliable hands.”
Calls made to both CEVA and Eaton inquiring about job cuts in relation to the relocation have not been returned.
