THE Noble Park RSL teamed with the AMP’s Pakenham branch to raise almost $22,000 for the Make A Wish Foundation.
The main fundraising events during the sevenmonth project were a charity golf day at the Pakenham Golf Course and a dinner dance at the Noble Park RSL.
It was the second year for AMP Pakenham to be involved in the appeal, and it donated $10,000 to go with the $11,673 from Noble Park RSL. Lyn Murray, fundrasing coordinator with the Noble Park RSL, has helped the branch raise more than $80,000 for the Make A Wish Foundation since the project began seven years ago.
“We extend our thanks to the local traders in Noble Park and the generous support from all those at the Noble Park RSL,” Mrs Murray said.
