WORKS have begun on the new $7.7 million integrated early years centre at Lightwood Road in Springvale. The centre will include childcare, a kindergarten, toy library, maternal and child health and community-based support services for children and families.
Dandenong Council’s community services director Mark Doubleday said the centre would offer state-of-the-art integrated children’s services with a focus on parents and the community. It is expected to be completed by December.
