School brings the magic

New families to Springvale Rise Primary received a warm welcome and plenty of laughs.
The school’s Heights Campus in Wareham Street, Springvale, hosted a Foundation Family Fun Day on Friday 3 March.
Principal Debbie Cottier explained that the day was designed to welcome the families of Preps.
“All family members were invited to come along and enjoy some exciting activities with their children who have commenced school this year,” she said.
“There was a performance by a magician, farm animals, art activities and more.
“We think it’s a lovely way to build relationships with our families, many of whom are new to the school in 2017.”
