Impounded on a Sunday morning

 A driver has had his vehicle impounded after being detected speeding at 151 km/h on Monash Freeway on 15 July, police say.

Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol officers intercepted the driver on Stud Road during mid-morning,

The red sports Lancer was immediately impounded. It will cost $1006 for the car to be released in 30 days.

The driver has been summoned to appear at a magistrates’ court in coming months.
