Station attack

A DANDENONG man suffered a dislocated shoulder, suspected broken nose and a cut to the head when he was robbed on 2 March.
Police said a 39-year-old and 45-year-old man were walking towards Robinson Street from the Dandenong railway station about 12 midnight when they were approached by up to four men of African appearance.
One of the men was punched and kicked by the group of males and had his wallet stolen.
Police said as the other victim tried to call police, the offenders set on him and stole his phone. Taxi drivers intervened and three of the offenders ran off and one of them was held until police arrived.
Police arrested a 27-year-old Doveton man and took him into custody. He is assisting police with their inquiries.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
