CHILDREN at Dandenong Hospital had something to celebrate when Southern Health launched its Monash Children’s Playground last week.
Patients, donors and sponsors who supported the project attended the event alongside Monash Children’s staff and patients.
Zodo the Clown, Tall Ted, and a singing Elvis entertained guests.
Dandenong Hospital’s Director of Nursing Jane Paxon said the playground was great for the children at the hospital.
“The launch was very much about fun for the children who will benefit from having the new outdoor playground that is attached to the Monash Children’s Play Education room,” she said.
The project was funded by local businesses, partners and supporters of Southern Health.
