Drug warrant executed in Dandenong

Police this morning arrested a 32-year-old man as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the southern suburbs.

Acting on a drug warrant, Dandenong Divisional Response Unit investigators, assisted by members from the Critical Incident Response Team, attended a property on Coleman Court in Dandenong North about 5.30am, and seized an amount of cannabis, cannabis seeds and a machete.

The man has been charged with possessing a drug of dependence and possessing a prohibited weapon.

He was bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 9 January, 2019.

The investigation remains ongoing.
