OCCUPANTS of a vehicle which collided with a traffic light pole walked away with “more embarrassment than injury” fire fighters said.
CFA photographer Keith Pakenham said a Ford Falcon passing through the intersection of Douglas Street and Chandler Road, Noble Park, collided with a ‘Keep Left’ sign and then a traffic pole at approximately 8am last Sunday.
Ambulance crews, police and CFA units from Noble Park and Dandenong were called to the scene, but Mr Pakenham said the two occupants escaped uninjured.
Meanwhile, a car was wedged in a fence and its driver trapped for more than an hour after a collision in Hampton Park last week.
Dandenong Rescue CFA crews were called in to free the man, whose car collided with a fence along Somerville Road, Hampton Park, on Thursday 24 November at 8pm.
