Greater Dandenong CIU detectives have released images as part of their investigation into an alleged purse snatch in Noble Park.
An unknown male approached the female victim from behind and grabbed her purse out of her hand on Buckley Street about 5.25pm on Wednesday 27 November.
The alleged thief was described as having a tanned complexion and aged in his early twenties.
He was wearing a blue and grey striped T-shirt, light pants, white shoes and a blue Adidas cap.
Police released images of a man they say can assist their inquiries.
