RESIDENTS at Regis Waverley Gardens were the lucky recipients of a new garden on Tuesday.
Dandenong Bunnings renovated part of the Dandenong aged care facility as part of their Anzac Community Project because of the facility’s commitment to celebrating Anzac Day each year.
Bunnings donated all the drought tolerant plants and workers from Bunnings put in the new garden around the flagpole area on Tuesday.
A representative from Regis Aged Care said the garden had led to an enhanced environment for all the residents.
Dandenong RSL aged care and community co-ordinator John Filmer said it was great the facility would be getting a new garden.
“The aged care home was amazed with their generosity,” Mr Filmer said.
“I look forward to seeing the results.”
