POLICE have charged a 16-year-old Dandenong North boy over an assault with a broken bottle in Oakleigh on 21 October that left a man with a cut to his face.
Last Friday, Monash CIU detectives executed search warrants at two homes in Woodcock Court, Dandenong North, and Hennings Street, Dandenong, in relation to the investigation.
As a result police arrested two people at an address in Northumberland Crescent, Shepparton, and another man at an address in Shirley Street, Noble Park.
They charged a 16-year-old Dandenong North boy with two counts of aggravated burglary, recklessly causing serious injury, intentionally causing injury, assault with a weapon and unlawful assault.
He was bailed to appear in a Children’s Court in November. Police interviewed an 18-year-old Shepparton man and released him pending summons, and released a 20-year-old Noble Park man who continues to assist them with their inquiries.
