Carols light up Christmas spirit

HUNDREDS of people flocked to Dandenong Park last Friday night for the City of Greater Dandenong’s Carols by Candlelight.
Perfect weather greeted the event with Greater Dandenong residents relaxing in the summer sun while the city’s best performers led a chorus of Christmas carolling.
The evening was highlighted by the guest appearance of Australian singer Denis Walter, and for children, Humphrey B Bear. Backing music was provided by the City of Greater Dandenong Band, with vocal talents the Victoria Welsh Choir and Dandenong Choral Society on stage throughout the evening.
