THE Dandenong Panthers will be back on the prowl this Saturday against Ringwood during the Premier League country round.
The country round is in its eight consecutive season and has provided an annual highlight to host associations and all those involved in the game.
But for the Panthers, who will venture to Wonthaggi, a win in the round 10 one-day match will be much more important than their trip to Gippsland.
Dandenong and Ringwood can hardly be separated on the Premier League ladder, with both sides on 24 points and sharing equal fifth position.
For the winner, hope of playing in finals remains alive, while the loser will face an uphill struggle to finish in finals contention.
The country round match between Dandenong and Ringwood will be played on Wonthaggi Recreational Reserve on Saturday from 11am.
