Doveton down by three again

DOVETON suffered yet another three-goal defeat when it fell to Southern Suburbs in Football Federation Victoria State League Three action at Keeley Park on Saturday.
But unlike the previous two weeks the Doves got a score on the board, falling 4-1.
The loss saw the Doves continue their slide down the ladder, moving from fifth to seventh.
Doveton started the season impressively winning in six of the first seven rounds, but have been disappointing since then, losing the last five.
The Doves will be looking to get their season back on track this weekend when they host Mooroolbark at Waratah Reserve.
Springvale City, meanwhile, recorded its first draw of the season at Ross Reserve on Saturday.
Springvale maintained fourth spot on the ladder despite failing to kick a goal against 11th-placed Nunawading City.
The Vales travel to Fairfield Park this Saturday to take on Fitzroy City.
