TVshow gets into it

A TELEVISION station is playing an active role in encouraging Greater Dandenong children to exercise.
The Cartoon Network will next week host the Get Animated, Get Up and Go challenge at Dandenong North’s Tirhatuan Park, with a plethora of activities for children to be involved in.
A Cartoon Network spokeswoman said the event followed a similar one held last year and was aimed at supporting the Federal Government’s new fitness campaign.
“Expanding on the channel’s commitment to encourage physical activity and supporting the Australian Government’s Get Moving campaign, Get Animated will continue the tradition started with Aussie Hoops last year to make fitness fun and entertaining,” she said.
The day, on 22 March, will include a large Johnny Bravo obstacle course and will commence at noon and run until 4pm.
