A MAN ended up in hospital with a fractured skull after an altercation at a private function at Keysborough Golf Club last week left.
The incident happened after a golf day for a group of local amateur football clubs last Thursday night.
Police said some of the people at the function decided to kick on afterwards at the golf club’s bar.
Springvale Police were called to the scene following an altercation between several people in the car park at the end of the evening.
A Hampton man in his 20s received serious head injuries, including a fractured skull, and was admitted to The Alfred hospital.
Police said on Friday a 27yearold Parkdale man was charged on summons with intentionally causing serious injury.
