VICURBAN’S plan to revitalise central Dandenong is 10 years too late, according to a Greater Dandenong councillor.
Dandenong Ward councillor Jim Memeti said at Tuesday’s council meeting he believed the planning body should have acted earlier to make the process easier for everyone involved.
Cr Memeti said 10 years ago any plan to revitalise central Dandenong would have avoided uprooting and relocating the number of traders who now face the change.
VicUrban is preparing a response to Cr Memeti’s comments.
