SPRINGVALE Toy Library is inviting residents to come along to its 20th birthday celebrations next month.
With more than 200 members and 2500 items now in its collection, plans are underway for a massive celebration after 20 years in the business.
The birthday party will be held on Saturday, 22 April at the Toy Library at 40 View Road, Springvale, from 11am to 1pm.
The party will feature Jolly Roger the Pirate, face painting, balloons, a sausage sizzle, games, activities and prizes.
Committee of management member Marina Alessio said new members joining during April would receive a party pack voucher, valid for a year, which entitles them to free hire of six large toys for one week.
“All families and interested people are most welcome. It promises to be a great day,” she said.
The library has been providing toys, learning aids and multicultural play items to the local community since 1986.
Springvale Toy Library is a not-for-profit community organisation managed by a voluntary members’ committee of management.
