DORA the Explorer and her band of animal friends rolled into Dandenong this week to entertain small children for the school holidays.
The Dandenong Plaza’s centre court played host to Dora, the pre-school cartoon character who is the star of her self-titled pay-TV cartoon.
The bilingual Latina heroine, oddly enough, lives inside a computer – but never lets that get in the way of a good adventure with her friends Backpack, Boots, Map Diego and Swiper.
Kids from across Greater Dandenong had a chance to get up close and personal with the life-sized Dora and company and – judging by the large crowd – enjoyed it thoroughly.
