A STAR-studded line-up of football and basketball players are hosting the Dandenong Basketball Association’s annual three-day school holiday camp this month.
Former Dandenong junior footballer Brendan Fevola, Carlton dynamo Bryce Gibbs and Hawthorn guns Danny Jacobs, Jarryd Roughead, Beau Dowler and Clinton Young headed the football camp.
Players from Dandenong Stingrays, along with students from Eumemmerring Secondary College, also led the footy camp, coaching participants in various skills work and activities planned.
Dandenong import and Big V spearhead Vince Inglima, along with other Dandenong basketballers, will take the basketball camp.
The football camp ran this week, and the basketball camp starts on 10 July and concludes on 12 July.
Dandenong Basketball Association general manager Peter Roach said the camps provided local youth with an unforgettable experience.
“It’s a great way for the youth of Greater Dandenong to be active during the school holidays as well as meet some of their AFL and basketball heroes,” he said.
