EASTER in Dandenong South can be identified by the sweet scent of cream-filled buns wafting from the Krispy Kreme doughnut factory.
The ‘doughnut commissary’ manufactures Krispy Kreme doughnuts en-masse, and this year for the first time is making the company’s Easter buns.
Essentially a choc-iced doughnut with a cream filling and a pinch of cinnamon, Krispy Kreme is marketing the buns as an Easter treat.
The company launched the buns on Monday at its Fountain Gate store, with local CFA crews among the first to taste them.
