NO-ONE is looking forward to this year’s Dandenong Show more than Narre Warren’s Jordan Vella.
The talented 10-year-old scooped last year’s Dandenong Show junior art category with a handcrafted collage.
Her mother, Clarice Vella, said the grade four student from Mary MacKillop Primary School was ecstatic when she discovered her piece had won.
“She took (the piece) to her school, and the school did a presentation for her where they asked her up on stage at assembly and applauded her.”
Ms Vella said her daughter had attended weekly art classes at the Narre Warren library where her creative skills had flourished.
