Man freed from rolled car

Fire officers freed a man from his sedan after it rolled over while travelling along the Princes Highway through Dandenong on Monday at 3.40am. The Dandenong Country Fire Authority was called to the stretch of highway near Hemmings Park, where the car had rolled and come to rest on its side against a tree. The male driver was trapped within the Holden sedan, but freed by fire officers who used hydraulic cutting tools to ‘peel’ the roof off the car. Paramedics were able to stabilise the man before taking him to Dandenong Hospital for treatment.Fire officers freed a man from his sedan after it rolled over while travelling along the Princes Highway through Dandenong on Monday at 3.40am.
