DANDENONG North Seniors Club celebrated its 30th birthday in style in what has been a big week for senior citizens clubs in Greater Dandenong.
In addition to Dandenong North’s milestone celebration on Monday, the Noble Park Senior Citizens Club is celebrating its 50th birthday today (Thursday) at the Paddy O’Donoghue Centre.
Dandenong North Senior Citizens Club president Edris Dorrity said the celebration at the Menzies Avenue Hall was made even sweeter by the fact the food and prizes on the day were donated by local businesses.
The group also inducted Cathie Bunton as its latest life member, and cut a special cake in honour of the club’s 30th year.
