TRADERS in a Springvale shopping centre will be monitored following more complaints about the illegal dumping of rubbish.
City of Greater Dandenong councillor Naim Melhem said he had received a number of complaints from nearby traders and shoppers.
“I’ve heard so many complaints about the state of the shopping centre.
“The council goes to so much effort to keep the streets clean, and it’s important we get the traders to comply,” Cr Melhem said.
The council’s director of city development Mal Baker said the complaints were directed at one of the shops that front Buckingham Avenue.
