CHRISTMAS is just around the corner, and while it is a festive time for many, it is a difficult time for others.
To try to make it easier, NAB Keysborough is helping the charity organisation the Dandenong District Benevolent Society to fundraise.
NAB Keysborough’s branch manager Bashir Keshtiar said this was a great opportunity to share the Christmas spirit with the local community.
“NAB recognises the positive impact that the Dandenong District Benevolent Society has on the community and the team wanted to help them make this time of year special for those who may not otherwise have a reason to celebrate,” he said.
State general manager Victoria for NAB Retail Banking Mark Melvin urges people to donate a Christmas hamper that will be raffled to help the Dandenong Benevolent Society raise money.
“Donating the hamper is a way of helping charities with their fundraising,” he said. “By providing a prize, the Dandenong Benevolent Society can concentrate on raising money.”
NAB will donate 220 hampers containing a range of Christmas delicacies such as puddings, nuts and biscuits to charities across Victoria and Tasmania this Christmas.
