MANAGEMENT and staff at Dandenong Club Cafe have been rewarded for their excellence, winning top spot in the Best Club Cafe/Brasserie category at the annual ClubsVIC Achievement Awards in Melbourne on 7 December.
Hundreds of club members and their partners attended the event at the Crown casino.
Prizes were awarded in 27 categories to celebrate not-for-profit clubs excellence and achievements.
Dandenong Club Cafe manager Daniel Martin said it was an honour to have won the award.
“It was great to be awarded best cafe. We are very humbled,” he said.
“A lot of hard work has gone into making sure that customers want to come back. It’s all about customer service.”
ClubsVIC president Mr Johnnie Walker said clubs were the heartbeat of local communities.
“These awards celebrate the excellence and outstanding contributions of both the individual and club as a whole,” he said.
