Showing their metal

BRITANNIA Metal Industries began back in 1941, when a few drinking buddies were finding it difficult to source plumbing products during the war.
In 1997 Martin Solomon became part-owner of the business and began implementing changes and improvements to the business that became a nominee in the Premier Regional Business Awards last week.
There are two major parts of Britannia operations; metal parts fabrication and manufacturing pressure vessels, heat exchangers, refrigeration vessels and air receivers custom built for industry.
Recently Britannia worked on an item for Wilson Transformers, which employees were able to find 14 ways to improve.
