SPRINGVALE RSL is presenting a fabulous Bushfire Appeal Fundraiser on Friday 13 March and is asking everyone to support this worthy cause and make it a huge success.
Entertainment will be provided by celebrities Darryl Cotton, Wilbur Wilde and many others.
All entertainers have donated their services free of charge and will be performing throughout the club from 6pm until 11pm.
Springvale RSL chefs are presenting an international smorgasbord dinner to be served between 6pm and 8pm at a cost of $30 per person.
Ten dollars from every booking will be donated on behalf of patrons to the Australian Red Cross Bushfire Appeal.
Payment in full must be made one week prior to the event to confirm a booking.
Those who do not wish to have dinner are encouraged to attend the evening, enjoy the great entertainment and donate a minimum of $10 entry with all proceeds going to the appeal.
Ten drawings of bushfire survivor, Sam the koala are to be auctioned on the night and the club hopes to have signed boxing gloves by former world boxing champions to be auctioned as well.
The club will also donate all profits from its sales on the night to add to the total raised from the dinner and entry.
Raffles will be conducted throughout the evening, as well as a members’ draw of a $1000 prize which will jackpot to the next week if it does not go off.
On Sunday 15 March, the RSL dart and pool players, angling and bowls club members will be visiting the Springvale RSL.
All players of these RSL clubs are invited to either join in or just support this charity day.
Springvale RSL will charge $10 per player, and will be running a raffle with, as on the Friday night, all proceeds going to the bushfire appeal.
The club is at 23 Osborne Avenue, Springvale.
