POLICE have charged a woman they say deliberately drove her car into a brawl in Springvale early on Sunday.
The 34-year-old Bentleigh East woman has been charged with reckless conduct endangering life, two counts of intentionally cause injury and two counts of reckless cause injury. She has been bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 26 August.
A teenage girl’s legs were hurt when the woman allegedly drove her car on to the footpath to break up the brawl in Queens Avenue.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Mick Martin said the woman was taken into custody and received treatment for facial injuries after being hit with a bottle.
A teenage boy has been released from hospital after being stabbed during the fight. A 17-year-old Glen Waverley boy was also treated at the Monash Medical Centre after a bottle was smashed over his head.
Police have called for witnesses to the attack to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
