POLICE are searching for a man who indecently touched himself in front of a group of children at a Springvale South playground.
Three boys under the age of 10 and two girls aged 11 and 13 were playing on the playground at the Alex Nelson Reserve when they noticed a man of Asian appearance approach the equipment and pull down his pants.
The man fondled himself while staring in the direction of the children.
Detective Senior Constable Stuart Freeman said the man, aged about 50, did not approach, talk to or touch the children.
“When the children left the playground, so did the man,” Det Freeman said.
“He was last seen heading towards Mackay Street.”

THE Dandenong Recycling Scheme will receive 800,000 litres of Class A recycled water as part of the State Government’s upgrades to the Eastern Treatment Plant. From 2012, recycled water will be made available for projects in industry, households and public open space.
