A TRAIN travelling inbound from Narre Warren was stopped by police at Dandenong on Monday after they received reports of a commuter with a gun.
Police said at 8.10pm an onlooker at the Narre Warren train station reported seeing a group of 12 Sudanese people at the station, with one carrying a gun.
The youth with the gun boarded the train.
Police stopped the train at Dandenong and search a 16-year-old from Chelsea, allegedly finding an imitation pistol in his backpack.
The youth has been charged on summons with possessing an imitation pistol.
