Grants up for grabs

NOT-for-profit organisations in Greater Dandenong are encouraged to apply for community grants.
Federal Isaacs MP Mark Dreyfus is urging groups to take advantage of grants of up to $5000 under the $16 million volunteer grants program.
“Local volunteers play a vital role in our community and the volunteer grants program is a great way to continue supporting those people who generously give their time to help others in the Greater Dandenong community,” Mr Dreyfus said.
“The volunteer grants program continues to assist community groups by allowing them to purchase much-needed equipment or provide ongoing assistance in our local region.”
Applications can be made at www.fahcsia.gov.au or by calling 1800 183 374, closing 8 June.
