A MAN was left without his possessions – and his pants – after an armed robbery in Springvale on Sunday morning.
The man, with two female friends, got off a Nightrider bus at 5.30am on 12 June and was walking east along Hillcrest Grove, Springvale, when they were approached by three people.
Police said that initially the group threatened the man with a machete and baseball bat and stole all his belongings.
After he handed over the possessions, the three demanded he strip to his underwear.
The group then turned their attention to the women, who were separated from the man during the attack in Billing Street, and threatened them with the weapons.
They took the women’s handbags and were last seen running towards Keets Court.
The incident is being investigated by Dandenong Embona Taskforce.
Anyone with information should contact Detective Senior Constable Verity on 9767 7618 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
