MORE than 30 organisations set up stands at Keysborough College’s Careers expo when it was held recently.
About 600 students went through and spoke to representatives from universities, government organisations and other potential employers about future careers and pathways.
Australian of the Year 2011 Simon McKeon also spoke to the students at the school assembly.
School principal Heather Lindsay said the event was fantastic and students went away pleased with the event. “They’ve enjoyed wandering around and talking to people in the stands and finding out information,” Ms Lindsay said. “It’s just been a really good day and lots of opportunities to hear, talk and learn.”
