DANDENONG fire station is throwing open its doors to the public next month.
CFA Dandenong firefighters will welcome the community into the station on Saturday 22 October for its open day.
Firefighter John Cornell said members of the public were welcome to walk around the station and have a look over the fire trucks.
There will also be rescue demonstrations, an emergency medical response display, home fire safety displays, firefighting appliance displays and a sausage sizzle.
The open day will be held between 9.30am to 3.30pm on Saturday 22 October at the Dandenong Fire Station, 120-122 Princes Highway, Dandenong.
